A town famous for its association with pirates, star-crossed lovers and valiant knights has also a unique nature varying from endemic species of wildlife to the most common critters in the world. Come with us and discover its amazing secrets.
Transfer to Valdanos, a secluded, breath-taking cove, for centuries used by pirates, now a beach of such beauty with no match in the entire Montenegrin coastline. Behind the beach lies the biggest olive grove in the country with about 18.000 olive trees, which are between 800 and 2.000 years old. Walk among them, these witnesses to centuries past. After swimming in the Adriatic blue waters of Valdanos, join us on a short walk to the peninsula Mendra, where we’ll visit the only lighthouse in Montenegro with a permanent crew. Another time machine, and as a bonus for an amazing view of the bay and the forest that surrounds it. After that we continue on our way to Ulcinj, with a walking tour of the Old Town. Find out the connection between Don Quixote and this ancient city; learn more about the pirates that used to inhabit it. Explore one of the few cities in the world that Mongolian hordes failed to conquer. Transfer back to the starting point.
Alternatively, accommodation in a hotel/private apartment onsite upon request.
