Transfer to a spot 3 km from the Albanian border, where we start hiking (around 145 m of elevation). After 3 hours hike, at 880 m we’ll reach village Deljaj with the best view there is of Cijevna canyon. From the village you can see peaks of Prokletije, but also the blue surface of the Skadar Lake. In the village, there is a 9m tall white cross – a symbol of Christianity in this area. After a short break in the village, we start driving to Kučka Korita, where a lunch awaits in a secluded area, and a restaurant with a name that tells of its authenticity – Stara Kuća (the Old House). On the way back to Podgorica, we will visit the old fortress of Medun that dates back to the 3rd century BC, and was a Roman and Illyrian settlement, but also a place where last Illyrian king Gentius was captured. Beneath the ancient settlement is the Memorial Museum dedicated to one of the greatest heroes of the Montenegrin past – Marko Miljanov. Car ride to accommodation or the starting point of the tour.
